Pearson MXTXL

Pearson Mutale, professionally known as Pearson MXTXL, is a Zambian rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his unique sound and creative storytelling. He was born on 1st November 2001 in Kitwe, located in Zambia’s Copperbelt Province.

He began his early education at Mulenga Primary School in Kitwe and later continued his senior education at Rodwell Mwepu Secondary School in Solwezi, in North-Western Province.

After completing his secondary education, Pearson MXTXL officially started his music career in 2019 in Kitwe. He has since been building his reputation as an upcoming artist with a distinctive style that blends rap and Zamrock influences. One of the things that makes him stand out is his unique use of the Kaonde language in many of his songs, giving his music a strong cultural identity.

Some of his songs include “Kwepi” and “Waiting” featuring X Popa and JB McLil, produced by Slim Sojah. These tracks showcase his lyrical creativity and passion for music.

Apart from music, Pearson enjoys playing football during his free time. He is also the founder of his own record label, 1DAY XMAS ENTERTAINMENT, which he established in 2025.

Pearson MXTXL was born into a family of five and is the second born among three boys and two girls. With a strong passion for music, he dreams of becoming a successful rapper, singer, and songwriter in the Zambian music industry.

So far, Pearson MXTXL has recorded around 10 songs, and he continues to work hard to grow his career and make a lasting impact in the music scene.
