Upload & Licence Agreement

This Upload & Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you (“Artist”, “you”) and Zedist Music (“Platform”, “us”, “we”). By uploading Content to our Service you agree to the following:

1. Your Representations

• You are the author, performer or rightful rights-holder of the Content, or you have obtained all necessary rights, licences and permissions from any third parties (including composers, performers, producers, publishers) to grant the rights in this Agreement.
• The Content does not infringe any third-party rights (copyright, neighbouring rights, personality rights, etc).
• The Content is legal, does not violate public policy, and is not defamatory or obscene.

2. Grant of Rights

You grant to the Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable licence to reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, stream, display, transmit and make available the Content through the Service, and to promote or monetise the Content at our discretion.

3. Revenue & Royalties

Because you will not receive any revenue share from the Platform, no account of streaming, advertising or other use of the Content needs to be provided to you beyond what is required by law. You waive any claim to monetary compensation from the Platform for the Content.

4. Term & Termination

This Agreement begins when you upload the Content and remains in effect until terminated. You may request removal of your Content at any time, subject to the Platform’s removal policy. We may suspend, remove or stop streaming your Content at our discretion.

5. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform from any claim, loss, liability or expense that arises from a breach of your warranties above, or from any third-party claim regarding the Content.

6. Miscellaneous

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia (or your chosen jurisdiction). Any change must be in writing. If any part is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
