Jay Low

Jay Low is an up-and-coming hip-hop and Kalindula artist from Mansa District, Zambia. He started creating music in 2024 while still at school, crafting hooks that quickly gained recognition among his peers. One of his first notable contributions was a verse on the track Sugo Temunobe, which highlighted his talent for catchy hooks and strong vocal delivery.

Drawing inspiration from life experiences, Jay Low’s music addresses themes like perseverance, personal growth, and real-life struggles. Influenced by Zambian artists such as King Buggah, Chef, Yo Maps (especially his early works), J Mulla, and Icimude, he blends traditional and modern styles to create a unique sound.

He has collaborated with local talents including Kam Charles and featured on Be Aware alongside Jmbzo the Peace, The Chozhen, and X Vorx, marking his rise as a notable voice in the Mansa music scene. Despite financial constraints, societal skepticism, and occasional demoralization, Jay Low remains committed to inspiring his listeners to believe in themselves, work hard, and overcome obstacles.
