Lemison Cheelo, known by his stage name King Lemmy, is an Afro music artist from Livingstone, Southern Zambia. His stage name reflects his dream — “one day I will be king of the music.”

King Lemmy began his musical journey in 2017, driven by a deep love for Afro music, a genre that takes him to another world every time he creates or performs. His passion for music is fueled by the desire to elevate Zambia’s music scene to another level and inspire others through his sound.

Inspired by artists like Yo Maps and One B One, King Lemmy has performed at several events, though he hasn’t yet collaborated with big names in the industry. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources to push his music further, he remains focused on his goal — to teach, inspire, and make a difference through music.

King Lemmy believes that every performance brings him one step closer to his dream of becoming a true king in Zambian music.
